Eye Of Storm is an idea that has been germinating for many years.

For a very long time, I've dreamed of seeing albums that are "cult" for me released on vinyl. These are mainly albums from the French and Swiss post-hardcore/metal, emo/screamo, math/post-rock scene of the 2000s, but not only... 

Some of these albums have, many years later, received the vinyl treatment, but not enough. There are still many that truly deserve to be (re)released on this format.

I always told myself that one day I would have to take the plunge and do it by myself and... here we are.

Eye Of Storm Records is not a business, it's even more of a financial risk with each release (i.e. I'm actually leaving money there)

Depending on how this project evolves and its success, the scope may expand and EOS may one day produce new albums/artists or some releases may touch on other musical styles. Who knows? 🙂 

As for the name, in addition to the personal meaning, Eye Of Storm represents the opposition between calm and violence, like the music that this label wishes to highlight.

Another duality: the initials, EOS, evoke the goddess of the dawn in Greek mythology. Like the eye of the storm, it represents the moment of calm that precedes agitation.

This goddess is an alternate visual theme that will return on certain limited releases.
